Description

This 5 ingredient banana bread is naturally sweet, blender-ready, and full of comforting flavor — a fast, foolproof loaf you’ll keep on repeat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas, or 1 ½ cups mashed
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, or oat flour
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup maple syrup, or honey
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Prepare 9×5-inch loaf pan with foil or parchment and spray with cooking spray.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. (If desired, stir in any mix-ins, or sprinkle on any toppings.)
  3. Bake 45–50 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. (This is the suggested bake time based on my oven, but it may vary. If it’s your first time making this recipe, I recommend checking your loaf’s doneness around 25–30 minutes.)
  4. Allow to cool completely before cutting.
  5. Store in an airtight container on the counter up to 3 days or in the fridge for a week.

Notes

  • Use bananas with brown spots for the best flavor and texture.
  • If your bananas aren’t ripe yet, bake them at 300°F for 10–15 minutes until the skins turn black.
  • You can hand-mix if you don’t have a blender — just mash bananas well and stir thoroughly.
